Ammonium metatungstate (AMT) is an important intermediate compounds of tungsten hydrometallurgical process, chemical formula is (NH4)6H2W12O40.XH2O. It is white crystalline powder. It is soluble in water which is 300g WO3/100ml H2O (in 25℃).

Ammonium Metatungstate is prepared from ammonium paratungstate (APT). Ammonium metatungstate is shorted for AMT. The content of WO3 is over 91.00%. Ammonium metatungstate is widely used in production of tungsten oxide, petroleum industry, ceramic industry, fireproof fabric, heat insulating masterbatch, etc.
